Empowering Affordable Healthcare

Overview

PayZen is focused on affordable healthcare payment solutions. Before I joined this project, a Designer had already been working on the research. I was brought in during the design phase to revamp the site, as it was outdated and difficult to navigate. The goal was to enhance user experience and make finding the information they needed easier.

Challenges

  • The homepage and solutions page are copy-heavy, making it hard for users to find key information quickly, leading to higher bounce rates and less engagement.

  • Load times are slow, leading to drop-offs.

  • Typography, color, and button style inconsistencies create a disjointed user experience.

Solution

Transitioning to Webflow provides greater flexibility and scalability for business growth. This migration improves performance, boosts security, and simplifies maintenance, making it easier to adapt to changing needs.

Design System

Since they already had a strong visual identity, I focused on the typeface, which I found too playful. After exploring various options, I ultimately selected the Sailec font, as it aimed to convey trust and reliability.

Iterations

Simplifying the Proprietary Model

Users often found it challenging to grasp key insights from the chart in just five seconds. To address this, we created a horizontal Funnel Chart to simplify data flow visualization. We also added an engaging animation that guides viewers through the funnel stages, enhancing attention and understanding.

Selecting Multiple Options

We've responded to user feedback by allowing the selection of multiple options at once. This new feature enhances the user experience, making it easier to customize content selections based on individual preferences and needs.

A reset button has also been included, allowing users to restore settings to factory defaults quickly.

Adding a Sidebar Menu to the Platform Page

The "Our Platform" page contains extensive information, often overwhelming users due to excessive scrolling. To improve user experience, we introduced a sticky sidebar menu that shows the user's position on the page and offers quick access to specific sections through clickable buttons. This feature aims to reduce scrolling fatigue and help users find relevant information quickly.

Final Designs

Despite facing numerous setbacks, we successfully delivered the main pages and effectively addressed user pain points.

Results

With the migration to Webflow, PayZen has successfully scaled its operations and resolved the issue of slow load times.

Marketing

After the launch, we focused on developing digital and print marketing assets for 2024 to boost brand awareness. This included social media graphics, email newsletters, and promotional materials like brochures and posters aimed at engaging their audience and promoting events while strengthening PayZen’s brand presence.
